Distinguished Lecture Program is an annual activity organised by IEEE Computational Intelligence Society (CIS) Malaysia Chapter where top researcher from around the world will be invited to Malaysia to give a distinguished lecture to the lecturers and students regarding his/her interest research topic. The 2016 IEEE CIS Distinguished Lecture Program was held on 1st November 2016 at Tunku Abdul Rahman University College, Kuala Lumpur.
In this Distinguished Lecturer Program, Prof. Nikhil R. Pal, IEEE Fellow, from Indian Statistical Institute, India was invited to deliver a lecture with title “Making your Fuzzy Systems a Little More Comprehensive”. A total of 85 participants attended the Distinguished Lecturer Program and they were members of the CIS Chapter, Lecturers, postgraduate students and undergraduate students from different institutions.

The auditorium, Tun Tan Siew Sin Building was occupied for the Distinguished Lecturer Program.

Dr. Chee Seng Chan, the Chairman of IEEE CIS Malaysia delivered the opening speech for the Distinguished Lecturer Program.

Prof. Nikhil R. Pal., IEEE Fellow, from Indian Statistical Institute gave his lecture on the title “Making your Fuzzy System a Little More Comprehensive”
